I direct the reader's attention to the final section of this rather belated rehash of the finale, which concerns a proposed rewriting of the final season. It's pretty ingenious, actually: "Change The Woman King, Change the Series."



And yes I am quite shameless in my concurrence with the whole Atlantis thing. It's almost too perfect to be discounted as kitch or corny or whatever, and invokes yet another form of belief - the paranormal, New Age, etc. - that consoles in the face of infinity and enormity. (And in historically specific ways.) I would so watch that finale.

So say we all. I really like the review as a whole. I don't think you change Dee's suicide though. Seriously. That was one of the hardest moments of the series. And I'm going to pretend Lissa didn't mention Days of Our Lives.
